Rapper Wyclef Jean reportedly sold $30,000,000 worth of cars, including a McLaren F1 and a Pagani Zonda, for just $900k, but he turned the bag fumble into a huge success.
Like many other successful musicians, Wyclef Jean has used his celebrity earnings to get hold of some huge luxury supercar purchases.
Expressing his collection as a ‘piece of art’, the rapper has amassed an impressive collection.
But he once parted with some of his cars in a $900,000 deal, which has gone on to haunt him, as the combined value of the vehicles now sits at around $30M
Wyclef Jean reportedly sold $30M worth of cars for just $900K
Cars have gone hand-in-hand with rap culture for generations, marking wealth and success.
Some rappers have amassed collections of pure comfort and luxury.
Others have upped the game and secured themselves some wonderful supercars.
The rapper, best known for his role in the Fugees and his solo top 10 hit Gone Till November, has a collection of cars worth tens of millions.
Notable models in his garage currently include a Lamborghini Murciélago, a 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, and a Ferrari 360 Spider.

But what his collection no longer includes is the notoriously inflated McLaren F1, as he was one of many owners of the car that cashed in before it soared in price.
Back in 20015, Wyclef Jean traded in his McLaren F1 and a Pagani Zonda for a reported $900,000.
While at the time, that appeared to be solid business, the F1 specifically has rocketed in price, and the duo of cars would now be worth $30 million.
The McLaren F1 has been a success story for many, such as Oracle owner and the world’s richest man, Larry Ellison, who made a 2,574 percent profit on his.
The Pagani Zonda, a rare C12 version, is expected to fetch a mil on its own; while it’s not the heartbreaking inflation of the F1, it essentially prices the McLaren supercar as free.
But for Wyclef Jean, at least he was able to put the money into another worthwhile investment.
Who needs a Pagani when you can build your own electric supercar?
It turns out that Wyclef Jean isn’t just a talented musician; he’s also a pioneer of sustainable tech jobs, and he’s poured endless time and effort into making his own EV company and producing an electric supercar.
The 56-year-old celeb launched Attucks, a company that would go on to develop the Apex AP0 in 2023, which is an electric supercar worth $350,000 a pop.
With an enhanced music and sound experience on the interior, the 650hp electric motor powers a wild ride.

At least he can have solace in knowing the missed millions have been put to good use in the form of a sustainable EV company.
