Augusta Controversy: Kai Trump Under Fire Over Alleged Rule Violation 😳⛳ A surprising name is making headlines at Augusta after reports surfaced of a potential rule breach

Phones, cameras, and other devices are strictly prohibited at Augusta National. They take this rule so seriously that this week, when 1989 Open champion Mark Calcavecchia was reportedly found using his phone, he was asked to leave! Apart from the media, this rule applies to everyone. But it seems like it wasn’t just Calcavecchia who broke the rule this year. At least as per evidence from NUCLR GOLF. And no one is happy about it.

They tweeted, “🚨📸🌺 #LOOK — Kai Trump takes to IG to share new photos from The Masters Tournament. ‘What a special place,’ she wrote.”

It would have been fine if President Donald Trump’s granddaughter had had the pictures taken by the media to share on her social accounts. But one of the photos looked like she was taking a selfie using her phone. And that has caught on like wildfire in the golf community. Other than the selfie, she also shared pictures posing with her family friend, , and his caddie, Gregory Bodine. So not only did she take pictures on the course, but also with the LIV Golf pro who is participating in the event. But here is when things take a turn. The timeline doesn’t make sense.

The photos were taken on Tuesday, April 7, during a practice round. And that detail changes everything. While the phones are banned during the tournament today, cameras are allowed for personal use on the practice days. That’s an exception that fans either forgot or maybe didn’t realize in the first place. And there are other reports pouring in.

There are also reports coming that Kai wasn’t even using a phone at all. That she had a digital camera, which is completely permitted during the practice rounds. So, what looked like a major violation…wasn’t really one. She might not have angered anyone in Augusta after all, but that still doesn’t discount the fact that Donald Trump and the doors to Augusta National Golf Club are firmly closed.

Despite being president of the United States for two terms, he still hasn’t found a seat at the table. And given that the board thinks his fit is an issue, his making an entry seems far from plausible in the near future.

As far as the backlash for Kai Trump goes, by the time the report on the camera and the rule came out in the open, the outrage had already reached its peak. Let’s take a look at some of them.

Kai Trump’s rule-breaking actions leave golf fans furious
One of them said, “Why does she have a cell phone on the grounds?”

Augusta’s rules also prohibit the use of electronic devices to record and/or transmit voice, video, or data. So, even if Kai had a phone on her, she would be banned because of using it to record anything.

Interestingly, someone suggested, “Picture taken in the grounds of Augusta National, I wonder if this was a ‘Secret Service’ cell phone?”

Even if that were possible, that would be an outright misuse of President Donald Trump’s position in the White House. But the Masters Tournament website does not mention anything about using Secret Service cell phones.

Looking at one of the pictures, someone said, “She’s clearly taking a selfie; nobody takes a selfie with a regular camera. It’s a cell phone. Ban her.” Unsurprisingly, fans called for her to be banned from the grounds.

The photo appears to be a selfie, which would be impossible to take with a permitted still-photography camera and strongly implies a phone was used.

Lastly, someone wrote, “For all the folks having a stroke about the pictures. This would appear to be from a practice day. When cameras are allowed, Bryson didn’t wear that shirt yesterday, and the number of people at hole one in the first picture is not a Thursday crowd. But feel free to rage on.”

Indeed, DeChambeau isn’t wearing a polo he has worn during one of the two rounds so far. In fact, the Crushers GC captain is also holding a glass of beer.
