Carly (Laura Wright) doesn’t trust many people, but she would never think her brother or her daughter would betray her. She confided in Lucas (Van Hansis, who explained why Lucas turned to Britt) about her affair, without telling him it is with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Lucas was intrigued but didn’t think that anything too nefarious was going on. He actually believed the other guy may have been Sonny (Maurice Benard).

It is not Sonny, and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) knows it. Lucas was being gossipy when he shared Carly’s secret with her daughter. In his defense, he has no idea that Joss is in the WSB or that Valentin is hiding out at Carly’s, but he should know better than to blab about Carly’s love life.

Joss easily put the pieces together, and what she did next was a bit surprising.

Tattle Tale

Josslyn knows that Valentin is at her mom’s house, so she easily concluded that her mom was cheating on Jack (Chris McKenna) with her houseguest. For some reason, she ran directly to Brennan’s hotel room to clue him in on her mother’s affair.

Jack has been doing everything he can to protect Carly and her family, including Joss, from danger. He has insisted that Josslyn “stand down” from anything related to Faison’s Final Project case. She is, of course, not listening, but she may have gone to Jack with Lucas’s information so that he will let her back in on the case. If he stops protecting Carly, he will stop protecting her daughter.

Josslyn may get what she wants, but to what end? She and Lucas (without realizing it) may have put Carly in danger. WSB Agent Jacks probably made a huge error in judgment. Do you agree?
